Safety Principles

All G4 Apps' projects and products for in-vehicle use are undertaken and executed with the following safety principles in mind, with highest priority principles at the top of the list:

• Never provide guidance to a driver or data to a vehicle system that may contribute to behaviour or operation that reduces the safe operation of the vehicle
• Assume that every driver is capable and alert, and in the normal course of driving will take appropriate action.
• Subject to the above, develop solutions that can provide as much benefit as possible in as many situations as possible. Where appropriate inform the driver in a non-intrusive manner that the system is not operating
• Minimize false warnings and driver distraction

Driver Interaction: For each project and product determine the solution objectives, the algorithm design and the driver interface in adherence with the above principles.
